Masterplan Delivers Highest Quality Service!

Masterplan is already working with hospitals and health systems in the area through the Healthcare Council’s Shared Services program, Agreement #89. The relationship brings a number of innovative programs to area hospitals, which we view as clear differentiators. Outlined below are some key points on why you should chose to partner with Masterplan:

Key Differentiators

  • Site-based Management
  • Site-based Biomedical and Imaging Technicians
  • National Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance Program, headed by Dr. Malcolm Ridgeway, Ph.D.
  • 24/7 transparent access to the hospital’s inventory, preventative maintenance and service calls through their web portal, iDesk.
  • Strategic radiology equipment replacement planning through their product, Dynamic Asset Replacement Planning, D-ARP.
  • Key parts procurement relationship through the largest independent medical parts provider in the United States.
Vendor neutral, independent viewpoint on equipment acquisition and reliability.
  • Flat management structure, which is quality based and outcomes driven.

In addition, Masterplan has recently brought on Dave Stoner as their new Regional Sales Director. You can contact Dave at 412-563-0494, by cell at 412-302-0551 or by email at dstoner@masterplan-inc.com. Check out their website: masterplan-inc.com.

Disability Employment

Booz Allen Hamilton, a multi-national management consulting firm headquartered in McLean, VA, is sponsoring a pro bono project to promote employment opportunities for people with cognitive disabilities in the Washington, DC-area healthcare sector.

One project objective is to inform regional healthcare organizations about model employment programs that successfully place individuals with cognitive disabilities in semi-skilled hospital positions—sterilizing equipment, laying out instrument trays and stocking supplies—that traditionally have heavy turnover rates. “One model program, Project SEARCH (www.cincinnatichildrens.org/svc/alpha/p/search/default/htm) at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, has demonstrated the business case for hiring these loyal, productive employees, “state Bob Rudney, a Booz Allen project director. “Project SEARCH also initiated a pilot program in Ohio nursing homes.”

The Healthcare Council supports this initiative and encourages you to contact Bob Rudney at 703-465-2645 or rudney_robert@bah.com. Booz Allen is undertaking this project in support of ServiceSource, Inc., a rehabilitation service provider located in Alexandria, VA.
