2009 Salary Surveys

Health Council’s popular, region specific salary surveys are almost completed! The Council working with it’s Human Resources Directors is almost done with these 2009 surveys. Tabulation is now being done and distribution should be around the end of May.

This year job descriptions were updated and new positions added. Just a reminder these surveys are discounted for participants and members in good standing (dues paid).

Here’s a preview of what’s inside

• 135 healthcare job titles
• Hourly rates: low salary, average, weighted average and high
• Pay range: Minimum, mid-point and maximum
• Number of participating organizations by title
• Number of employees, institution type, bed capacity, shift, differentials, full range
• Defined location, Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia

How about the Executive/Department Head Survey?

• 77 healthcare positions
• Same specific data as the Wage & Salary Survey Report

Participants can order specific “peer group reports” and then there is the follow up supplemental “Hot Jobs” survey. The positions are selected by the Council’s HR Directors. This 10 - 14 position survey follows the salary surveys by a few months and is free to participating members.
