Children’s National Medical Center is getting a $150 million gift from the Government of Abu Dhabi to help make surgery more precise, less painful and less invasive. The largest gift ever for pediatric surgery. CNMC will use the funds to create the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation. One hundred plus new surgeons, staff members and researchers are to be hired over the next few years.

Executive Committee Approved New Dues Structure
The Council dues are the lowest in the country of any similar state or metropolitan association. Dues have always been based on a per licensed site basis. This year we plan a new fair share dues program with reduced cost for multi-hospital systems and smaller allied members.
