Brooke Grove Retirement Village made special plans for May 6 - 12, National Nurse Week. The theme “Nurses: Making A Difference in Every Day”. The foundation President Keith Gibb remarked how “immensely proud” of the nursing staff the Village he is.

Walter Reed Army Medical Center marked their 99th anniversary in late April. Army surgeon Maj. William Cline Borden was the brainchild. The new hospital was named after his close friend’s death following an emergency appendectomy, Maj. Walter Reed.
